When to start Growing
It’s always a great time to start growing your own vegetables; however it is definitely best to start in Autumn or Early Winter, as it means that all of your crops will begin to flourish in the New Year. Get Inventive when Fighting the Pests

To shoo away snails set up a beer trap and to avoid birds snacking on your precious parsnips or pumpkins, get even more inventive by hanging CD’s from high bamboo sticks (the constantly reflecting light should keep them at bay!)
